Hi everyone! Im here with another card I am entering for a couple challenges. I will link the challenges below.
Here is my card —
I started this card with a panel of Neenah Solar White card stock and I stamped flowers in coral and aqua inks. Then I accented the centers and blank spaces with grey ink. I cut the stamped panel to 4 x 5 1/4 and then used a curved border die to cut the panel on a curve.
On a standard size card base, I attached a grey striped paper from My Mind’s Eye. I curved the sentiment to match the curve of the panel and stamped it with Versamark and embossed it with a silver embossing powder. To finish the card, I attached the curved panel with foam adhesive.

The theme for this week –
So here’s my card –
My goal was to use any scrap paper I had and to still be able to come up with a decent card. I had some pumpkin patterned paper which I adhered on to a dark cream card stock. I had some scrap double sided textured paper from The Paper Studio which I cut longer so it would go over the edge. I stamped the “So Thankful” sentiment from Hampton Arts and Studio G (I got it at Walmart for 99 cents – great bargain in my opinion) using Memento ink in Potter’s Clay. I stamped out the Pumpkin image from Imaginisce Monster Mash collection and colored it in with Copics. My first time to try Copic coloring – I think I failed but with practice I know I’ll get better. To finish the card, the added a faux stitching line with a Sakura white gel pen.
Today’s card is an entry for the CAS-ual Fridays Clean and Simple Challenge. The challenge for this week is

So being that this week’s card needed to have a heart on it, here is my card for the challenge –
On a dark cream card stock base, I used a heart patterned paper from Hot of the Press Light Backgrounds. To that, I cut out three 1 1/4 x 1 1/4 squares from papers found in the Basic Grey 6×6 Out of Print pad. I used the “I Love You” stamp from the Operation Write Home – Year Round Sentiments from Hero Arts. I didn’t want to cut my stamp, so I carefully stamped each word and cleaned any ink i didn’t need, so I was able to stamp each word on a different piece. I just got some plain red card stock and punched out a heart and replaced the “o” on love. I used some stickles to make the heart stand out. I used the heart stamp from Lawn Fawn’s Winter Owl stamp set as a top and bottom border. To finish the card, I rounded the corners and drew white dash lines with a Sakura white gel pen for a faux stitching effect.
